Seating

We look forward to welcoming you and hope this information helps you to plan your visit.

Our seats are numbered 1 to 12 from left to right, and A to J from front to back, with the stage at the front. Most shows will have pre-booked allocated seating for online bookings, with any spare seats available for sale on-the-door.

Our theatre has 100 seats available for you, yes, we know there are 107 seats shown, but we do need to reserve some seats for our crew, shown in grey in the diagram. In addition the seats numbered A7, A8, A9 & A10 are reserved for persons with limited mobility and a helper, and seat A1 is missing, but makes space for our lovely bar.

All of our seats have a good view of the stage with no obstructions, and we have a limited number of booster cushions for our younger visitors. You are welcome to change seats if you wish before the show, if there are unallocated seats available, our usher will let you know when everyone is in their seats.

The front entrance has a short flight of stairs to enter at the rear (top) of the auditorium. There is a step-free entrance around the side, but please check-in at our front desk first and we will open the door for you and show you to your seat. The side door leads straight to the accessible seating and unisex accessible toilet, which doubles as the gents. Ladies toilets (2) are at the foot of the stairs near the entrance.

Seats numbered 1, on the left of the auditorium, have a solid wall on their left, and seats numbered 12 on the right of the auditorium have a solid wall on their right. Rows I & J are below the technicians gallery (where the magic happens), with a solid wall behind seats J1-6. Seats H7-12 on the right have a solid wall behind. All seats apart from the front row are accessed from the central aisle.

If you have any questions before your visit, please email enquiries@broadbenttheatre.org, and during your visit any of our crew will be happy to help, look for their lanyard badges, we’re here to help.

From all of us we hope you have a wonderful visit.
